Data Lead - Product / Mobile App : Green Panda Games (M/W/NB)

Green Panda Games is a vibrant and fast-growing mobile gaming start-up, part of the Ubisoft group. We are a leading mobile games publisher with games downloaded more than 250 million times in more than 150 countries!

We primarily create and publish idle games, but also games from diverse categories, ranging from hyper-casual to casual, constantly deepening our games' mechanics and our portfolio. We are looking to further grow our internal creation and publishing businesses at a rapid pace.

Job Description

As Data Lead, you will join a high-performing team made up of international people working in data analysis, data engineering, and data science. You will be in charge of managing the whole data team (6 people). Reporting to the VP Marketing, you will liaise with the top management and all the different teams' managers.

Manage the Data team:
• Lead the data team, helping them to grow and making sure everyone performs well and feels good in his/her job;
• Communicate your vision clearly and establish a strategy in collaboration with top management to drive the team's goals, to deliver the projects, and to help the team grow;
• Accompany the team on technical topics and strategic cross-teams projects;
• Coordinate and manage feedback from various stakeholders to improve data processes;
• Collaborate with different teams (marketing, product, monetisation etc) to satisfy their various data needs;
• Benchmark & develop new data analysis and tools to optimize the data team efficiency & the performance;
• Knowledge sharing and best practice collection with other Ubisoft studios.

Data Engineering:
• Help to maintain and to improve our data pipeline,
• Optimize data services to be able to manage ever-increasing amounts of data (via Appsflyer, Firebase, etc),
• Help to develop and maintain models used for analysis and reporting,
• Guarantee the security and integrity of data in strict compliance with the regulatory framework,
• Work with the Marketing team on topics such as automation & predictive modeling,
• Ensure the events tracking work properly in our games and ingesting all data in our data warehouse based on Google Cloud.

Data Analysis:
• Production of key data models for the proper functioning of our games,
• Support the team in the use of the data visualization tool (Tableau) and the construction of queries and dashboards to make them autonomous,
• Ensure the implementation and analysis of A/B tests in our games, to help product team make data-driven decisions,
• Monitor the stability and performance of our games with the definition of KPIs (LTV, retention, bugs, user progression etc).

Qualifications
• You have a first experience managing people,
• You are an hyper-passionate and motivated person,
• You have a strong experience in data (in data analysis and data engineering) ideally in the mobile industry,
• Good written and verbal communication skills and good reporting skills,
• Solid technical expertise in data related fields, softwares, coding languages, and tools (Tableau, SQL, Python,...),
• Good knowledge of statistics, data analytics methods & data science
• You are able to efficiently manage yourself and several other people, adapting your communication depending on the situation and the interlocutor,
• You are able to speak English in a professional environment,
• Finally, you are autonomous and eager to learn and to grow in a fast-moving and ambitious company!

Bonus:
• Knowledge of mobile gaming is a plus.
• It's a plus if you speak a bit of français but it's not mandatory.
