Assistant Editor (Remote)

TXL Films is looking for an assistant editor to start immediately. The position will help implement the post-production workflow process and properly set up the senior editors for their projects. Extensive experience in utilizing Adobe Premiere is a must,Experience in Davinci Resolve is a plus. The candidate must be well organized and possess a meticulous attention to detail.

Candidates must have proficient knowledge of the editing systems commonly used in the professional editing community: Adobe Premiere, Avid, FinalCut Pro, and Resolve. Must also have experience working with a 4K proxy workflow and dealing with 4K footage.

Primary functions are: 

Loading, transcoding, and syncing media

Creating projects

Creating backups

Doing exportsDoing round trips between programs. (Resolve round tripping between Avid and Premiere)

TXL Films is a state of the art Production House. We do everything in-house, from syncing and transcoding the footage, to color correction in our own, fully to spec, coloring suite. We have built in lines to handle any type of post production needs. From short videos, to feature films. We pride ourselves in the quality of our work and we believe that to be our strongest asset.

Requirements

Extensive experience in Adobe Premiere is a must

Experience in Davinci Resolve is a plus

Experience using Monday.com is a plus

Compensation$25/hr
