The Job
We're looking for a creative, strategic Senior Colorist who is comfortable with pushing boundaries, while understanding how to drive the creative image of the brand through the use of color and compositing. Working under the guidance and collaboration of WarnerMedia Studios and network producers and creatives, the Senior Colorist is trusted to lead high profile projects, elevating concepts through independent thinking, strategic perspective and inspirational color treatments. The Senior Colorist will find inspiration across all channels and industries, while executing with a refined aesthetic that allows for clean, elegant and contemporary finishing work.
The Daily
• Develop and apply original or legacy color schemes with a creative eye to craft a stylized, visually cohesive piece. It's all about enhancing the brand story!
• Articulate concept visually with multiple options and personal perspective
• Show originality by providing unique solutions to solve problems with stylistic variety
• Work independently to achieve objectives and design components of projects
• Maintain stewardship of partner's look, tone and feel
• Demonstrate risk taking and innovation to push creative skills
• Work effectively with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Producers
• Manage multiple projects and mentor less experienced peers
• Provide exceptional work in short timeframes, manage time efficiently while multi-tasking across different projects

The Essentials
• Demonstrate an expertise in compositing and color system knowledge including Davinci Resolve, Autodesk Lustre, After Effects, Photoshop, Nuke, along with corresponding third-party plug-in sets
• Demo reel of current work
• BS or BA in a related field preferable, with at least five years relevant experience in fast-paced environment
• Strong command of composition, color theory, design thinking and the psychological effect of color
• In-depth knowledge of cameras and cinematography
• Ability to develop and articulate a design concept and demonstrate creative thinking with a clear design process
• Knowledge of file formats received and/or delivered back to edit
• Foundational knowledge of motion techniques, animation, and filmmaking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude with a passion and drive for excellence
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, high performing team environment
• Awareness of the entertainment and sports broadcast industry
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
