The Job

WarnerMedia seeks a Sr. Analyst, Financial Reporting for the Finance/Accounting department. Senior Financial Analyst focusing on the reporting and analysis of WarnerMedia (primarily legacy Warner Bros., legacy Turner Broadcasting and WarnerMedia Corporate) to ensure consolidated results are in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. Consolidated Financial Reporting is responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related footnote disclosure for inclusion in the AT&T quarterly and annual SEC filings. Act as liaison between our parent company, AT&T, and Global Business Services to ensure adequate explanation of submitted results, communicate reporting requirement revisions to internal partners and to obtain alignment on process efficiencies.

The Daily
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial schedules
• Review and record elimination entries ensuring correct reporting in the various reporting views, including management, by-title and legal entity
• Responsible for documentation and guidance related to intra-company eliminations in each segment
• Support mapping of financial data from the company's systems into AT&T systems and ensure all systems are in sync
• Addressing management requests for data and analysis spanning multiple functional finance and accounting areas
• Support chart field governance process for business unit, departments and account set-up
• Collaborate with internal/external customers, business partners and peers to drive efficiencies in processes and effectively meet deliverables
• Interface with internal/external auditors in managing requests concerning processes and deliverables
• Assist in providing ad hoc reporting and analysis and with various other projects, including cross-divisional initiatives, as required

Educational Qualifications, Knowledge and Relevant Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Three or more years of experience in accounting and/or finance
• Variance analysis and reporting experience is a plus
• CPA is a plus
