Your New Role…

Turner Sports seeks a Sr. Staff Software Architect in support of Turner Sports portfolio of web3 and blockchain initiatives. This role provides technical leadership and management oversight of the discovery, solution architecture, administration, and development of blockchain based sports games and experiences built by a team of internal and external architect and development partners. The role works closely with Turner Sports product management and senior technology architects and stakeholders to help define and deliver the next generation of blockchain based games.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Work with a team of internal and external architects, developers and partners through design and feature delivery of the Turner Sports portfolio of web and mobile blockchain products and experiences. Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners for business needs to design and deliver technical architecture design for large, organizational-wide blockchain systems and solutions. Work across multiple teams to design and ensure an effective implementation of web3 solutions and ecosystems.

Be the technical lead across internal and external developers around architecture planning, solution delivery, technical operations, and issue resolution. Drive standardization and automation of the blockchain platforms utilizing sound architecture principles.

Leverage the use of cloud computing, microservices, and integration standards in the blockchain implementation. Code reviews of React (web and native), NodeJS based APIs, and blockchain code. Hands-on development in one of the more following: React Web, Unity, Node.js, Blockchain

Lead discovery and exploratory efforts for new blockchain technologies, capabilities, services, standards, and tools. Review proposed complex solutions and designs and recommend improvements.

Act as the technical liaison between clients, architecture, and engineering teams, and offering leadership. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring for staff level team members for development needs and growth opportunities

Qualifications & Experience...
• BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent
• Minimum 8+ years' experience developing software architecture and managing software projects.
• Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) experience
• React Web, RDBMS (PostGres, Sequelize), any Android/iOS development is a plus. Microservices development in Node.js
• Experience in delivering cloud-native architectures and solutions.
• Knowledge of Blockchain technologies.
