The Job
WarnerMedia seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Revenue Analytics department.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. The role will support the Business Intelligence (BI) and advanced analytics platform for WarnerMedia Digital Ad Sales. The person in this role will work closely with stakeholders in Product, BI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Ops.
The Daily
• Solutions Oriented: Design solutions to efficiently identify deficiencies in a timely manner. Suggest solutions to identified problems. Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
• Technically Proficient: Develop and maintain reusable code libraries to help build streamlined and efficient development/testing processes.
• Quantitative & Detail Oriented: Collect quality data, identify key KPIs for product quality, and prepare reports for product leadership. Commitment to quality and high standards with close attention to detail
• Collaborative: Effectively communicate will cross-functional team. Collaborate with the development team to review new features and devise appropriate automated or manual testing strategies prior to development
The Essentials
• Required: Minimum of 2-3 years professional experience applying the required Knowledge/Skills
• Preferred: Experience working in Media or Ad Sales domains
• Required Tech Skills:
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Experience designing, writing, and executing test plans
• Experience with CI/CD
• Ability to work in a Linux-based environment
• Preferred Tech Skills:
• Looker or another BI tool, Snowflake, Airflow
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
• Required Soft Skills: Problem solving, detail oriented, written communication, effectively communicate w/peers, time management
• Preferred Soft Skills: Effectively communicate to senior stakeholders, understanding of digital ad tech
