WarnerMedia seeks a Mgr Product Management Data Strategy for the Data Products & Platforms department.
As a Data Strategy Product Manager you will help define and build the product roadmap for WarnerMedia's Data Products in Analytics and Content Metadata. This role is inherently cross-functional. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. He or she will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
The Daily
• Coordinate with stakeholders to help develop and produce the high-level roadmap for Data Products and features such as enterprise 1st party telemetry and analytics, content knowledge graphs, and AI/ML-enabled metadata extraction services, based on overall Data team strategy and vision.
• Take a data-driven approach to continuously improve the technical delivery of contextual data such as event telemetry and content metadata.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, product marketing, business development, operations, and sales teams to produce actionable plans for the launch of new features and improvements
• Consults and advises regarding marketing management in support of the full life cycle.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve development process and customer experience
The Essentials
• Deep experience with one or more of the following digital video domains: Instrumentation & Event Data Collection, Advertising Technology, Insights & Analytics, AI & Machine Learning, and Content Supply Chains
• Strong working knowledge of data engineering principles, processes, and technologies
• 7+ years of software product management, product marketing, and/or business development experience, preferably in a fast-paced online environment in the digital advertising / marketing space
• 3 or more years of management experience
• Experience delivering digital streaming media, and defining products and roadmaps which deliver simple, immersive customer experiences while dealing with underlying complex technical requirements is preferred.
• Experience in defining use cases, reviewing / updating workflows, pricing and assessing GTM strategy across in a highly collaborative environment
• Passion for understanding customers and their behavior, particularly with regard streaming media platforms
• A self- starter with proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
• Excellent cross-functional project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent quantitative data analysis and critical-thinking skills
