The Job

The Associate Broadcast Designer is a core member of the studio creative team and is responsible for the development and execution of broadcast graphics in a live setting. Conceptualization and design for live sports telecasts, production of motion graphics and support for the studio broadcast production teams. This role requires collaboration with other members of the creative team as well as all production, sales personnel and on-air talent teams. This role will also require up-to-date industry and emerging technology knowledge to be able to provide strategically sound and deployable solutions that work specifically to enhance our broadcast coverage.

The Daily
• Conceptualize and produce still and motion graphics for live sports telecasts. Understand deadlines and prioritize workflow accordingly. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays is imperative.
• Maintain an intimate knowledge of pop culture and social media in addition to knowledge about Turner Sports' portfolio of events and properties.
• Collaborate with Directors, Producers, AD's and PA's to ensure that requests are being met. Maintain in daily communication with various creative teams and production personnel to manage the design production process.
• Work closely with production personnel to conceptualize, produce and deliver original content for various studio shows. This may include working closely with various members of our sales, marketing and on-air talent teams.
• Must have a professional level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other software and hardware used to create motion graphics and animations. Find creative solutions to daily production challenges and keep abreast of changing technologies in live sports broadcast graphics production.

The Essentials
• Must have experience or understanding of: graphic design and motion graphic design and software/hardware associated with such work (Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects)
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, New Media Design, or related field.
