POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator who has passion for numbers and thrives on attention to detail.
Our Payroll Administration reviews and processes our corporate payroll and ensures all employee compensation is properly handled.

This position is based in Hollywood, California, and will require work onsite as requested.

The Payroll Administrator will need experience working with global payroll personnel to account for wage garnishments, employment taxes, retirement accounts, and other matters with our employee population's paychecks.

The Payroll Administrator will need deep expertise in the following areas: payroll processing utilizing ADP Workforce Now, In-house timekeeping systems, state tax account setup, pre/post-tax deductions, experience with Federal/California labor laws, pay calculations and reconciliations, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word), employee relations, customer service, other special projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Evaluate and record hours worked, wage amounts and other data in our corporate payroll system
• Work with payroll team to administer paychecks, deduction detail and earnings statements for Trailer Park Group's global workforce
• Create new data files for newly hired employees and work with the HR team to set up payroll account details
• Administer paychecks, deduction summaries, and earnings statements for our global employees
• Evaluate the accuracy of timesheets submitted and contact employees, supervisors, and other personnel if there are discrepancies
• Data entry of payroll exceptions, transfers, and terminations/resignations
• Work with Trailer Park employees to resolve errors in payroll and make wage corrections/amendments where necessary
• Answer employee questions involving payroll, tax forms, and other compensation issues when asked

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
• ADP Workforce Now experience required
• 3+ years payroll experience
• Thorough understanding of employment payroll and taxes, global payroll a plus
• Payroll department experience required
• Strong math skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Customer service oriented
• Computer skills including Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
