MXW, part of the Trailer Park Group, is looking for an Account Executive for their fast-expanding London office.
Based in Los Angeles, Trailer Park Group is a full-service agency specializing in content creation and entertainment marketing. By combining a storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, Trailer Park is uniquely positioned to make, market and distribute content for its diverse client portfolio of top entertainment studios and major brands. With content creation at the center, we support our clients with strategy, creative and the latest in digital services. Headquartered in Hollywood, the agency also has offices in London and Mumbai.
MXW brings a suite of services including marketing strategy, branded content and campaigns, and immersive experiential offerings to our many clients. The firm's work for the world's leading studios and streaming platforms comprises IP development and B2B corporate storytelling through to large scale activation ideas and unique consumer experiences.
POSITION SUMMARY
MXW at DISNEY is a satellite studio that designs compelling presentations and targeted materials servicing all Disney UK & EMEA lines of business. The team delivers best-in-class creative to engage both internal and external stakeholders ensuring a unified visual tone of voice.
The position forms part of this implant team in a client-facing capacity. The role requires exceptional organisation and multi-tasking skills, supporting both management and the creative team with the day-to-day running of various design projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Account Coordination (70%)
• Support the Client Services Director with the planning and development of retained projects ensuring quality control and deadline adherence
• Captain presentations/collateral/sales materials/mood boards/etc. from initial outline to fully realised client-ready deliverables
• Interpret briefs (strategy, nuance and ambition) and communicate with the client on additional information required
• Brief the creative team ensuring they have the correct assets and that deadlines are met
• Client liaison including arranging calls & meetings, diarising calendars, preparing agendas and taking minutes, ensuring effective communication of any resulting actions required
• Attend briefings and check-in meetings, taking minutes and making live updates to presentations
• Attend client meetings to gather greater understanding of slate priorities, opportunities and risks
• Foster strong relationships with key LOB's and affiliated agencies
• Stay up to date with rolling film and streaming slate and have awareness of trailer releases and competitor landscape
Creative support (15%)
• Assist in the design exploration process by researching and creating mood boards looking at typography, image treatment, colour trends etc.
• Gather reference images for mock ups to help with design approach and make suggestions for copy e.g., messaging on social posts
• Manage minor updates to presentations updating text, images and basic layouts when required
• Contribute to internal-facing and client ideation sessions
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies & trends and demonstrate understanding of how they integrate into key client communication ideas
Asset Management (10%)
• Work with the Creative Director to manage client materials
• Manage creative assets including style & branding guides, concept art, key art, title treatments and unit photography
• Ensure downloading, documenting, filing process & systems, circulation to relevant parties, tracking and security protocols are adhered to
• Uploading assets to the MXW at Disney SharePoint, ensuring removal of sensitive information
Other (5%)
• Contribute to live work schedule, tracking of weekly hours, monthly lock downs, quarterly business reviews and annual reporting
• Support with general office management
• Any other duties which the Company shall reasonably require from time to time
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
The ideal candidate is a confident and dynamic self-starter, likes to learn, a people person, and has the skills to think laterally and conceptually to bring briefs to life through standout visual execution.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and Outlook
• High degree of organization; detail orientated and able to work under pressure
• Creative and strategic thinking capabilities, with excellent communication skills and personaility
• Professional appearance and demeanour for interfacing with clients
• Interest in cultural and zeitgeist events that can influence ideas and tactics
• Awareness of current film, fashion and music trends
