THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Digital Media to lead integrated strategy and planning for paid digital media campaigns. You must have extensive knowledge of performance-based digital strategy and must be skilled at leveraging data to develop and optimize campaigns to meet core KPIs. You will work closely with internal marketing teams and digital channel leads in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You must be an expert at analyzing data, thinking creatively, and developing innovative media strategies. This role will be responsible for managing direct report(s).
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Market a variety of event types, ensuring paid digital media plans maximize ticket sales and meet specific KPIs
• Work closely with internal marketing teams to provide guidance and strategy across paid digital media channels (Paid Search, Social, and Programmatic)
• Optimize placement and targeting of digital media in partnership with channel leads, using various internal tools
• Develop key documentation, including media plan summaries, budget grids, flowcharts, and performance recaps
• Proactively drive changes in digital media planning/buying processes as needed to meet business needs
• Stay on top of digital media trends and establish best practices
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 5+ years of experience in strategic digital media planning, including paid search, social, and programmatic media (inclusive of all ad types) - agency experience a plus
• Proven record of effectively managing large budgets that drive quantifiable results
• Working knowledge of:
• Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.)
• DSPs (Google Display & Video 360, The Trade Desk)
• Paid Search (Google Search Ads 360, Bing)
• Digital Ad Trafficking Tools (Google Campaign Manager 360, etc.)
• Entertainment/event marketing experience
• In-depth understanding of media planning, negotiation, and performance analysis
• Proven track record of success and in-depth working knowledge of performance optimization and the technology integrations and solutions that guide them
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate strategy and rationale
• Previous management of a high volume of campaigns in a fast-paced environment
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
