THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and data-driven Data Analyst to join our team of global, dedicated multi-disciplinary team of passionate information security and privacy professionals. Our ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

This tole will report to the Senior Manager, Cyber Risk Management.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Develop, implement, and evolve data analytics disciplines through collaboration with the business as well as internal teams
• Turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Develop analysis and reporting capabilities
• Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
• Implement strategy for data collection, prioritization, and campaigns
• Create performant data systems and analysis that work at scale for multiple Cyber Risk initiatives
• Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the business technical systems

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Professional experience in Data Analytics
• Expertise in data query language performing complex queries (SQL, etc.). Fluency in a data-analysis programming language such as Python or similar coding technologies (i.e. JavaScript, XML, ETL)
• Ability to use data processing and visualization tools used to create dashboards to facilitate strategy creation
• Advanced knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization.
• Ability to use common workplace software like Microsoft Office products
• Develop, maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within various platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Apply automation and innovation on new and on-going data platforms for those development projects aligned to business or organizational strategies.
• Clearly communicate Risk Analysis and status of risk initiatives via executive level reporting
• Comfortable in a high-visibility, individual contributor role with the ability to work cross functionally and with all levels of the organization.
• History as a collaborative team player, strength in communicating clearly with partners to elicit information/data requirements.
