THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Accountant in our Corporate Internal Reporting department to assist in the consolidation of monthly financials and coordination of internal and external audit requests.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Review entries completed by staff accountant for late adjusting entries, cross divisional entries and restricted account entries
• Complete various Balance Sheet roll forwards schedules via BPC system to be used by management in monthly/quarterly financial statement review, schedules assignment may change
• Prepare monthly financial statements by collecting, consolidating and analyzing financial data
• Prepare journal entries for various general ledger intercompany accounts requiring monthly/quarterly Income Statement and Balance Sheet eliminations
• Review and research account reconciliation variances in accordance with company accounting policies by coordinating with divisions to confirm information and/or to correct with an adjusting entry
• Review the reconciliations for the late adjusting entries companies which are used to provide the divisional finance contacts information regarding late adjusting entries
• Handle internal and external audit requests
• Special projects as requested by management
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 3+ years comparable work experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-task oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organization skills
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Experience with Oracle and Excel intermediate is a plus
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.
