THE ROLE
We are looking for an SEO Analyst to support product initiatives for Live Nation and Ticketmaster platforms. The SEO Analyst will provide strategic reporting, analysis, and support to SEO projects that drive revenue growth and improve product features. The ideal candidate will be a strong data analyst with a background in ecommerce and web analytics that can bring scalable insights that help shape search strategy.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Measure, report and analyze results across products, channels, and platforms
• Be an expert in customer data and help to identify and fill data gaps, using internal resources and outside vendors
• Have responsibility for monthly Product KPI reports and optimization projects and work to ensure these reports meet the teams' needs
• Collaborate with other functional teams, e.g., Desktop, Mobile, Product, Strategy, and Marketing to understand the impact of analysis across multiple areas of the business
• Share expertise and best practices to develop sound strategies for future projects
• Conduct hands-on analysis and develop distilled, actionable information needed by the SEO team to develop and implement search strategy
• Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
• Leverage an in-depth understanding of our buyer's journey to develop and optimize SEO traffic
• Perform ad hoc analysis on event geography, category, seasonality, and customer behavior to influence SEO strategy
• Utilize analytics and other tools to track the effectiveness of web content for search engine optimization and user engagement
• Stay up to date on the SEO industry in order to provide insights to the SEO team and communicate the importance of SEO across departments

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 2-3 years of business experience in ecommerce, handling and analyzing large data sets to successfully drive conclusions
• Able to write and run SQL queries to pull data
• Must have expertise in Google Analytics Premium, Google Search Console and rank monitoring, and database tools, including the leading SEO software tools
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint /Google Sheets skills - Must be comfortable analyzing large quantities of data utilizing Excel, including creating complex formulas, pivots, and models
• Exceptional project management skills, driving multiple initiatives and roll outs to tight deadlines
• Experience in defining and executing tests based on a specific set of assumptions/hypothesis and goals, iterating and continuing improvements as required
• Strong understanding of digital media and e-commerce business models
