We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, strong communicator with a growth-mindset to join the People Operations & Development team based in Los Angeles, CA. This role will stretch across Corporate HR and function as a utility player, subject matter expert, and project manager for People programs, operations and communications. This role will be expected to wear multiple hats in order to elevate the processes and operations of Corporate HR. The perfect candidate will be someone who enjoys learning new solutions and can take in information from multiple sources – including individual research, conversations with practitioners from other companies, insights from internal HR members, business leaders, and employees. The end goal is driving ongoing improvement of HR and people processes resulting in elevated overall employee engagement and experience.
Reporting to the Senior Director, People Operations & Development, this role will be part of a team that services all global Live Nation divisions and Joint Ventures as needed. We are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial, roll-up your sleeves mind-set.
What This Person Will Do:
People Operations
• Develop, establish, and lead people-related critical initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and employee surveying while partnering with the D&I team to ensure integration of modern inclusive practices into LNE people operations
• Leads system implementations as the key subject matter expert for all Learning, People, and Performance projects and recommend/build change management strategies and communication plans for each respective project
• Manage and execute annual HR cyclical processes, including process & system design, communication build, education around goal setting, performance reviews, talent reviews, and support merit/benefit enrollment training needs
• Identify additional opportunities to increase the effectiveness of HR processes and programs and lead cross-functional, global projects to implement enhancements
• Provide thought partnership regarding organizational and people-related strategy
• Works with Employee Analytics to inform initiatives and programs (ex: retention, promotions, diversity, etc.)
• Consults with D&I team to support diversity retention, development and promotion, while collaborating to operationalize diversity strategy into the business and our culture
• Works with L&D Specialist to drive and develop learning content that supports the employee lifecycle
Communications & Consulting
• Designs, develops and produces HR-related communications and resources, including internal SharePoint site build and maintenance
• Researches and makes recommendations for latest approaches to people processes and needs
• Writes and develops deployment strategy for employee communications and resources coming from the central Corporate HR department, including consulting on ideal technology/software use and potentially new tech to invest in
• Drives company/brand initiatives in support of the employee experience and engagement (ex: company recognition projects, employee survey design, build, implementation and assessment, etc.)
• Monitors and responds to employee engagement analytics, including Diversity data, Workday analytics, survey data, etc.
HR Technology
• Performance management process & tool delivery, including development of change management tools that support and communicate new workplace policies and protocols
• Partners with the HRIS (Workday) team on performance management processes and implementation, consults on onboarding tasks and talent dashboards
• Consults and works on implementation of new technology features for employee engagement reporting (ex: employee skills tracking, promotions, development, mobility, succession planning, etc.)
• Conduct research on new features and functions specifically for the Learning, People, and Performance modules in Workday in order to recommend future improvements to business processes and user experience
• Act as a liaison between HR Business Partners and the core HRIS team in regard to design and implementation projects for Learning, People, and Performance modules
• Manages vendor/software accounts for Corp HR function
What This Person Will Bring
• A minimum of 4+ years of Organization and People Development experience
• Strong client service skills and ability to execute in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Project management experience, specifically managing detailed projects with multiple points of contact and stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentations skills with the ability to develop and tailor resources for a global and/or local audience
• Ability to be both strategic and operational with a strong eye for detail
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems and/or able to learn new software technology quickly
• Capable of maintaining a positive attitude through challenging situations. Holds a passion for supporting employees at scale with a service mind-set
• Capable of exercising independent judgement and discretion while using company policies to determine appropriate action
• Experience working with and communicating to many different levels and departments in the organization
• Resourceful, able to problem solve, and navigate uncertainty to find solutions
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Suite excellence (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
