THE TEAM
Ticketmaster UK, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, ecommerce and artist management. The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives customer engagement via our Content, CRM and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.
THE JOB
The role of the Content Editor is to produce, edit and manage content and campaigns across the Ticketmaster UK site and to assist in the development and execution of the digital marketing plans.
You will be a dynamic content editor with excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills and will collaborate with members of the marketing team and wider business to create, facilitate and promote word-perfect copy.
You will take ownership of a number of exciting creative campaigns that will include ongoing management, editing, promotion and analysis. You will also work closely with the Senior Content Manager to develop new campaigns from conceptual stages through to production and promotion.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Writing social copy, blog posts, artist biographies, email copy in keeping with brand tone of voice.
• Sub-editing copy across all channels to ensure it meets house style and the brand tone of voice.
• Using web content management systems to publish content.
• Assisting the senior content manager in developing integrated B2C marketing campaigns, editorial and social strategies and activity plans.
• Managing a number of creative campaigns and production of promotional assets including digital and print banners, co-ordination of social media support and creation of content for solus emails and newsletter.
• Working with the senior content manager and content and marketing teams to conceive, create and deliver new creative campaign, social media and editorial ideas to promote the Ticketmaster brand.
• Ensuring content is optimised for SEO and best practice is implemented across all digital elements.
• Analysing SEO data to ensure sure we're picking up on emerging search trends.
• Staying on top of social media trends and developments to help boost brand engagement.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• Proven experience in a content marketing, social media or editorial role
• Experience using a CMS (content management system), particularly WordPress and Prismic
• Educated to degree level in Journalism (or a related subject) or substantial experience in digital content marketing, social media or journalism.
• Able to write and edit quickly and accurately while adapting to brand tone of voice
• Ability to use Microsoft office software packages to a competent standard
• Previous experience in working with SEO from a content or editorial perspective
• Previous experience of using analytics programmes (such as Google Analytics) is highly desirable
• Proven track record in delivering content marketing campaigns for an entertainment brand is highly desirable
• Experience with video and audio editing software is highly desirable
