Job Description

The Orchard has an immediate opening for an Analyst, Content Acquisition- New York. The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of the Content Acquisition team reporting directly to the Vice President, Client Acquisition and Retention. In this position, you will be in a high visibility role directly influencing Orchard's artist and label distribution deals. You will deliver analysis and advise Orchard's dealmakers directly impacting Orchard's business and relationships with clients globally.

What You'll Do:
• Run due diligence, valuation and other relevant analyses for potential distribution deals.
• Execute detailed financial models to facilitate decision making
• Work directly with Orchard's global dealmakers to construct offers, maintaining good quality terms and operational excellence.
• Work directly with Orchard's executive team to attain approvals for Orchard's advances and terms. Communicate that information to the relevant internal teams.
• Maintain communication with Orchard's client facing teams, sharing information and confirming they can deliver on promises made.
• Understand and stay current on various regional markets and industry trends, the competitive landscape.
• Create and maintain departmental reports, tracking key KPIs for dealmakers and clients.
• Support the ever evolving tasks and priorities of the Content Acquisition department.

Who You Are:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years' of experience working in a strategic capacity in management consulting firms, investment banking, marketing strategy or corporate strategy roles.
• High proficiency with valuation modeling and techniques
• Advanced analytical skills and fluency with Excel
• Strong communication skills and a proven track record of communicating a vision and roadmap along with the resourcing needs to achieve it; ability to operate successfully in a cross-functional environment, build relationships, and influence managers
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects, manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce high quality deliverables
