The Mill Experience is The Mill's Immersive Experience Studio. We imagine, design and build pinnacle immersive experiences for the world's most ambitious brands.

The Mill Experience Realtime team leverages The Mill's years of artistry and design expertise in visual effects and applies it to the latest real-time game technology – innovating how animated character stories are told and produced.

The team brings CG characters to life and allows them to be directed and performed live for a truly interactive way to produce animated performances. In general, the team is passionate about the constant evolution of its technology, solutions, products and talent. Our ideal candidate is tuned into emergent technology platforms and trends. You will connect the dots and provide the framework between creative, live action shooting and technology.

This role will support the Mill Experience Realtime Team and Productions in the day to day running of projects and shoots. The Experience Production Manager will work directly with the Experience Resourcing team to assign suitable resources to projects and help balance workloads across the team's creatives, technologists, studio resources, and production staff. The Experience Production Manager will help ensure shoots and projects run efficiently, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively and enthusiastically with a team of world-class creatives, technologists and producers
• Budget tracking and assist in financial tracking
• Collaborate with the larger team, gathering input to build and manage Pre-Production & Production Calendars
• Build and Manage Shoot Schedule for Director and Technologist review
• Build & Manage Call Sheet
• Casting (as needed)
• Crew & Talent Scheduling and Management
• Management of Shoot Space & Gear
• Oversight and Organization of Hardware, Gear and Equipment; logging with dispatch, sending out for maintenance as determined by technologists etc.
• Contract and Schedule external stages (as needed).
• Work with Production to ensure projects run on track and project requirements and deliverables are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon
• Maintain schedules and use task tracking tools to ensure tasks are kept current and are properly assigned to the team
• Work with Resource Manager to assign personnel to projects, proactively identify resource challenges and be prepared to reach out to 3rd party vendors and/or freelancers as needed.
• Join weekly cross-department/business line resource meetings
• Compile reference material and pitch content for proposal decks
• Input all project details into sales/production tracker systems as necessary
• Recap and create debriefs for key completed projects; facilitate discussions on lessons learned and new knowledge gained; document properly and share
• Compile credit list and PR details at job wrap for Marketing team
• Support Senior producers and Production management team
• Additional duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Essential
• Curious, flexible problem-solver; able to take direction but also proactive in making suggestions and finding solutions
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and change direction depending on the current needs of the situation
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and people management skills.
• A passion for learning new skills, software tools and technologies
• Willingness to work early mornings and late evenings when needed for shoots.

Technical Skills
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Google docs, Adobe Creative Cloud
• Bonus Skills – Experience on Mocap shoots and direct knowledge of UE4 and/or Unity.

Experience
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience and solid knowledge of managing talent, intimate sets and crews
