Publicity Coordinator (CW Network)

The Job

The CW Network, LLC is searching for a Coordinator for the Publicity department reporting to the Executive Vice President of Communications. This role is responsible for developing publicity strategy, ideas, and all materials for primetime series' publicity campaigns, including series launches and ongoing publicity efforts. This role is currently operating remotely, but the plan is to move to a hybrid (office/remote) model beginning in January 2022.

The Daily
• Provide coordination support to the EVP of Communications and the department including organizing and distributing press summaries, sending show episodes to press as requested, drafting and proofreading written publicity materials, and answering phones, keeping call logs, and addressing press inquiries.
• Assist in planning events such as the press tours, network upfront, department meetings.
• Act as liaison to guests including scheduling meetings, greeting and ushering clients, talent, creative staff, and executives.
• Manage and arrange executive calendar, including scheduling meetings.
• Coordinate and arrange domestic travel and hotel accommodations.
• Monitor and distribute press coverage on network programming and talent.
• Maintain various files, records, and logs pertaining to network press.
• Distributes mail as needed to the department.
• Make photocopies of reports, documents, and other material.
• Prepares online expense reports and follows through.

The Essentials
• BA degree in related field required.
• Must have an entertainment or publicity experience.
• 2+ years of experience in an administrative or coordination role.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be knowledgeable and proficient with major social media platforms.
• Must be able to coordinate travel, people, and events.
• High-level collaboration skills with all levels of the team and organization; the ability to manage relationships with talent and producers is essential for success.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• The ability to exhibit discretion and maintain confidentiality is essential.
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Powerpoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, major social media platforms, file set-up, maintenance, and filing procedures.
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
