Manager, Alternative and Digital Programming (CW Network)

The Job

The CW Network, LLC seeks a Manager, Alternative and Digital Programming for the Development department.

The Daily
• Interface with producers and other external parties on the development of original and acquired alternative projects (''Development''), both from a creative and a business/logistics standpoint, as assigned.
• Supervise creative and logistical aspects of ongoing alternative series and specials as assigned (''Current Programming''), including oversight of creative development, reviewing and approving schedules, reviewing and making recommendations about talent and key personnel for projects, representing the network on set, giving creative notes throughout the process, liaising between internal and external parties, and any other creative or logistical elements as required.
• Review and discuss submitted material for on air alternative series, development and/or specials consideration, and occasionally digital programming; follow up and respond to submitted materials.
• Evaluate creative talent for all aspects of production of alternative series and development, and specials.
• Update records and contribute to logs and tracking grids as required.
• Provide verbal and/or written notes as required.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred. (film and television backgrounds are a plus)
• Must possess strong knowledge of excel, word, final draft, internet and basic computer skills.
• Two years prior experience working in entertainment at an agency, studio, network or production company. Production experience a plus.
