Supervisor - Vulnerability Management

Job Description

This position will be responsible for supervising the Vulnerability and Analysis team. They will responsible for the development of system vulnerability identification and remediation practices.

Responsibilities:
• Supervises the Vulnerability Analysis and Remediation team
• Develops and implements systems, practices and procedures to identify vulnerabilities, analyze their impact, recommend remediation strategy and develop methods to report status of vulnerability risk
• Coordinates with the Supervisor – Cybersecurity Operations and Monitoring to identify and deploy indicators of compromise (IOC)
• Participates on the incident response team
• Develops working knowledge of TEGNA cybersecurity monitoring practices
• Participates in the development and deployment of cybersecurity policies and standards

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• College or related technical degree with preference for a degree in cybersecurity or information technology
• Minimum eight years' experience in cybersecurity or information technology
• Ability to effectively managed a team for security professionals
• CISSP preferred but not required
• Ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks/projects and follow through to completion independently or as part of a team.
• As a member of a service organization, ability to effectively communicate technical topics to various levels of internal customers and outside business partners. Interact with customers with empathy and in a mature and pleasant manner.
• Ability to think analytically and solve problems creatively.
