Supervisor - Risk Management/Compliance

Job Description

This position will be responsible for supervising the Cybersecurity Compliance and Risk Management team. They will be responsible for the development and deployment of risk management frameworks based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Responsible for the completing of the PCI annual assessment. They will manage and deploy the cybersecurity awareness training.

Responsibilities:
• Supervises the Compliance and Risk Management team
• Develops and implements compliance and risk management processes
• Completes the annual PCI certification
• Conducts third party assessments
• Manages and deploys cybersecurity awareness training
• Develops working knowledge of TEGNA monitoring procedures
• Participates in the development and deployment of cybersecurity policies and standards

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• College or related technical degree with preference for a degree in cybersecurity or information technology
• Minimum eight years' experience in cybersecurity or information technology
• Ability to effectively managed a team for security professionals
• CISSP preferred but not required
• Ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks/projects and follow through to completion independently or as part of a team.
• As a member of a service organization, ability to effectively communicate technical topics to various levels of internal customers and outside business partners. Interact with customers with empathy and in a mature and pleasant manner.
• Ability to think analytically and solve problems creatively.
