KING 5 Media Group has an immediate opening for a proactive, high-energy, partnership-minded Director of Community Relations. This individual will be responsible for driving community outreach through successfully developing and managing station partnerships, community events and campaigns. This position will identify opportunities where the KING 5 'Stand for Truth' brand can advocate for the greater good and support our community.

Responsibilities:
• Proactively generating annual experiential and cause marketing strategy plans that are inclusive of SWOT analysis, strategic objectives as well as developing detailed action plans.
• Producing community-based events and activations that support multiplatform audience growth with an eye towards flawless execution.
• Participate as a member of the leadership team, partnering with all internal stakeholders to ensure community relations supports overall station, news, marketing and sales strategy.
• Aligning overall experiential and cause strategy with station brand and audience potential using a variety of analytics and marketing expertise.
• Creatively finding ways to leverage partnerships to maximize station goals of original content, visibility, ratings, digital growth, etc.
• Benchmarking and measuring the impact of all experiential and cause work and consistently thinking of ways to improve those metrics. Providing partners and internal stakeholders results of all campaigns.
• Collaborating with internal colleagues to activate all experiential and partner campaigns ensuring all campaigns are executed on-time, on-team, on-budget and on-strategy.
• Maintain king5.com digital presence and share community information via social media.
• Respond to inquiries and feedback from viewers and the public at large.
• Coordinate talent requests for event activation.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• 5-7 years cause marketing experience with a proven record of success in partner development and management, campaign development and execution.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, solid organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, ability to work under deadline pressures, attention to detail.
• Portfolio of successful cause marketing campaigns that drove results.
• Superior leadership, communication, negotiating, partner management and project management skills.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours, as needed.
• Technologically and digitally-savvy. MS Office proficient.

Travel: Rarely: less than 10%

Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment

Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
