Responsibilities
ROLE

Exciting opportunity to provide overall human resources support for a fast-paced broadcast entertainment workforce. T he Human Resources Manager works independently and in conjunction within an HR Team to support NBCUniversal Telemundo Corporate Functions. The successful candidate will support the execution of the HR Strategy for select client groups and drive key HR initiatives in areas such as staffing, performance management, compensation planning, succession planning, employee relations, training and development, rewards & recognition, employee communication and other human resources projects. The role reports to the VP of HR for Corporate TLMD and Latin America. NBCUniversal values not only technical abilities but also the soft skills that are indicative of the culture we strive uphold.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a HR point of contact for employees at all levels including management
• Provide HR leadership and coaching to employees and managers ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies and positive employee relations issues. Seek guidance and inclusion from employment counsel
• Implement and manage key HR initiatives and processes, including evaluations/performance management, organization planning, compensation planning, benefits, recognition programs, benefits and learning and career development
• Encourage constructive and transparent feedback, engagement, inclusion and diversity at all levels of the organization
• Promote and adhere to NBCUniversal's workplace values (Integrity, Creativity, Teamwork, Pioneering Spirit and Ownership)
• Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive employee relations and positive work environment encouraging the full use of diverse talents and abilities to maintain high level of engagement and retention of talent; act as an employee advocate
• Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values, and strategic vision of the business
• Work with HR Director and other HR Leaders to develop new creative programs to attract, retain, motivate employees and spearhead morale activities and initiatives
• Responsible for all aspects of new hire on-boarding of regular staff and contingent workers. Manages job descriptions creation and revisions. Partner with Talent Acquisition to led staffing initiatives
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in productivity and efficiency of services performed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Related field of Study
• Minimum of five years of professional HR generalist experience; PHR/SPHR certified preferred
• Experience in HR organizations with heavy emphasis on employee relations
• Minimum of two year of management experience
• Knowledge of US employment laws
• Able to adeptly foster positive employee relations

• Advanced proficiency in HR Systems and Word, Power Point, Excel, Visio, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams; SAP experience a plus
