Job Description

Responsibilities:
NBC 6 / Telemundo 51 Miami is looking for an exceptional Digital Producer/Multi-Media Journalist to produce content for various platforms. This individual should have excellent storytelling, writing and video production skills.

Responsibilities:
• As multi-media journalist would report, shoot and edit videos for various platforms
• Write/manage production of articles and videos
• Produce breaking news events across multiple platforms by working with reporters, assignment desk and independent sources
• Curate home page and other subsections
• Help grow digital metrics by identifying and producing engaging and relevant content that fits with overall editorial online strategy
• Work with senior editors at Local Media's national editorial centers in Miami and New York

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree, journalism major preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of AP Style writing and guidelines
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
• Minimum 2 years experience
• On camera experience as a multi-media journalist
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule, weekends
• Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere
• Spanish language skills preferred, but not required
