The Training Content Technical Manager role combines technical savvy and creative problem-solving in supporting ongoing training initiatives and developing solutions for the Creative Training and Development team. The aim of this role is to achieve the team's learning outcomes with the learning management system and oversee the training assets for all the visual effects disciplines used in the studio's training programs. This role is also responsible for the data collection and reporting on key performance indicators in the learning management system and the training database.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, document, and enforce the LMS visual standards, course structure and workflows.
• Interface with the infrastructure team on server-side maintenance and backup of the LMS.
• Create training programs, documentation, and mentor Department Trainers on LMS workflows and standards.
• Propose and follow through with new solutions in automatization processes, gamification, and an improved user experience in the LMS.
• Create proposals for new LMS plugins and pipeline tools and liaison with Technical Directors and Developers.
• Responsible for data collection, management and metrics reporting on key performance indicators for the Creative Training team in both the LMS and training database.
• Maintain organizational standards, naming conventions and cleanliness of the training directories.
• Organize the transfer of show assets to the training environment and keep a maintenance log of training assets.
• Report to the Head of Creative Training and Development

Qualifications
• Excellent working knowledge of learning management systems and experience working as an LMS Administrator.
• Experience in eLearning design theories and standards (SCORM, AICC, etc.) and LMS integration.
• ServiceNow and Moodle experience is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of PHP within the Moodle environment.
• Is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Can work independently within an organization to get information proactively.
• Previous experience in a training/education organization.
• Must have strong understanding of internet concepts and web technology, including User Experience design and digital media authoring.
