Our family of VFX brands includes: MPC, The Mill, MR. X, Mikros, along with select Technicolor facilities in Los Angeles, London, and Toronto. (This role is based in Montreal)

We're looking for a pro-active and creative individual to join Technicolor's Film & Episodic VFX studios in Montreal (MPC Film / MR. X). As someone with a passion for delivering communication campaigns, both to an internal audience and to prospective employees, you'll work closely with Montreal's Leadership Team and the wider global team to come up with and create relevant and engaging content across a suite of internal and external channels - whilst managing some of the more 'day-to-day' requirements in a busy, creative studios.

As a natural communicator and talented storyteller in both French and English, you'll help to engage and inform our employees about our vision and strategy, keep everyone across the latest show developments and enhance our social and community contribution. You'll manage a busy program of employee engagement activity within the studio and position Film & Episodic brands in Montreal as a highly desirable place to work for VFX artists around the world. You'll understand the need to come up with compelling content that appeals to a highly creative audience.

What you'll do:
• Support the local Leadership Team to develop a regular rhythm of communications, one which keeps the facility informed and inspired through a variety of mediums
• Align with our global communication and engagement team to roll out key campaigns locally and push Montreal success stories for wider consumption
• Create written content for the company-wide intranet and other local channels
• Conceive, film, and edit engaging video content
• Run and manage events as part of our employee engagement program
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the studios to gain a sense of the latest developments within Montreal. Cater communications to the style and tone of voice to each of specific brands
• Support on global campaigns and initiatives
• Help support on boarding campaigns

Qualifications

What you'll need:
• Experience of working in a fast paced, creative environment
• Experience of delivering communications for a busy organization across a range of channels
• Excellent writing skills, with a journalistic instinct for a story
• Excellent writing skills in both English and French
• Innovative and forward thinking, keeping up with the latest in digital/social media trends and platforms, proactively incorporating new ideas
• Good communicator with strong interpersonal and business skills
• Self-starter with a good sense of prioritization and hands-on approach, able to deliver to tight deadlines
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is desirable 

• Event management experience is desirable
