Technicolor Creative Studios, India is looking for a strong Assistant Outsource Manager to help Outsource Manager on source, on-board, manage, track and coordinate outsource vendors for VFX work for Adelaide, London, Montreal, Bangalore and Mumbai sites. The ideal candidate should have a business strong VFX/Animation background with a firm understanding of Assets, Animation,Compositing, Matchmove/Rotoanimation and Rotoscope/PaintPrep disciplines. The role along with Outsource manager will partner with our sourcing and workforce planning teams for forecasting and to put deals and strategic relationships in place with key vendors.

The Assistant Outsource Manager will be responsible to
• Plan, direct, manage outsourcing projects assigned by Outsource Manager and monitor progress against quality, schedule, cost and other baselines to ensure that service levels are maintained and that business objectives are attained
• Help Outsourcing manager on Planning and developing outsourcing strategy in partnership with Workforce Planning and Production
• Involvement with in-house departments to ensure workload is well balanced between internal departments and external vendors.
• Ability to forecast workload and predict potential shortfalls with current vendors in order to take necessary action to ensure work gets done
• Interact regularly with Show Producers / Production Managers regarding workload and be the primary point of contact for all outsource requests
• Manage service provider quality and performance in real-time to ensure that services are delivered according to the specified service levels and requirements. Maintain KPI dashboard.
• Strong relationship building with current vendors and establishing relationships with potential 3rd party vendors
• Help outsource manager on Developing a Database of Freelancers and help develop new engagement models

Qualifications
• Highly organised, first-class time management skills
• Prior experience as a Production Coordinator, Line-Producer, Producer or Production Manager in a VFX facility is a big plus
• Excellent communication problem solving & Negotiation skills
• Good understanding of Cinesync, FTP, Aspera and other common online delivery and review tools
• Good understanding of common digital image file formats and resolutions
• Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks
• Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work within a creative team towards a common goal
• Crisis management and forecasting skills are prerequisite
• Should have hands on experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling.

Additional
• Good knowledge of MS Office packages (incl Excel, Word and Project)
• Open to learning new production tools.
• Strong knowledge of VFX industry
• Must be willing to travel at short notice.
• Any Graduate with minimum of 8 years of total experience
