We are now looking for an Animation Team Leader to join our recently created stand-alone division Technicolor Games, who will contribute to the development of an ambitious and growing team, by supervising, motivating and mentoring a team of talented Animators.
Crafting hand keyed animations and MoCap will be your area of contribution by bringing your own thoughts and inspiring your team to push the limits. You'll work closely with the Animation Supervisor to bring their vision to real and share his feedback with the team.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Games animation industry working on Gameplay and Cinematics for AAA Game titles
• Strong command over the fundamentals in animating the human bipedal figure, creatures as well as other organic and mechanic forms.
• Thorough understanding on realistic body mechanics and facial animation.
• Ability to shift between various animation styles.
• Partners with production team, involves in resource planning, provide estimations for animation tasks, assigns task understanding the skill sets.
• Good understanding of Camera, lens, cinematography and composition rules.
• Possess scene planning abilities by shooting self-acting videos and collecting appropriate references to guide the team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to share feedback, handle client communications.
Technical skills
• Should be fluent in the use of Maya, Motionbuilder and other supporting software and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to overcome technical difficulties.
• Stays up-to-date with the growing technology.
Any of the following experience is a great advantage
• Familiarity with Faceware, Dynamixyz or any other Facial pipeline tool.
• A good knowledge working with Unreal, Unity or similar game engines.
• Familiarity with the usuage of 3DS Max.
