Job Description

The Head of Production, TNT, tbs & truTV is responsible for all Production including scripted series, specials, late night, unscripted, and live programming for these networks. This position will oversee production with in-house, outside, and 3rd party studio and oversees a team supporting the three networks in all media and for all platforms. Main responsibilities include ensuring all projects are being produced on schedule, on budget and creatively meets the expectations and guidelines as set forth by the GM, TNT/tbs/truTV. This leader is a key member of the executive team and plays an active role in the direction and strategy and long-range planning efforts for the networks.

Production:
• Oversee of all Production (unscripted, scripted, specials, live), including budgets and schedules, for TNT, tbs & truTV.
• Oversee in-house content production, and production run through 3rd party studios.
• Work closely with the GM, TNT, tbs & truTV to ensure the content remains true to the vision and integrity of the networks.
Operations:
• Research and qualify production services providers and talent.
• Responsible for maintaining contact with Controller and financial personnel regarding production budget.
• Control costs by overseeing production schedules and budgets for scripted, unscripted, late-night and live content.
• Partner with internal divisions including Ad Sales on sponsorship opportunities, development on talent, finance on budgets and credits, etc.

• Build a solution-oriented and agile team that is responsible for all production of content for TNT, tbs & truTV.
• Foster a talent friendly team by creating relationships in the industry in order to hire the best talent to partner with us to tell their stories.
