The Job

The Manager, Audience Research will work closely with network teams on TBS, TNT and truTV. They will be part of a team of strategic research professionals who partner closely with the network on program acquisitions , strategic scheduling, audience projections , and ad sales commercialization efforts .

The Daily
• Forecast ing audiences across linear and digital platforms to drive multi- billion-dollar ad revenue ratecard.
• Closely analyzing audience trends to fully optimize 24/7 programming schedules.
• Investigating competitive landscape for potential series and movie acquisitions; providing recommendations via detailed analysis and long-term audience projections.
• Overseeing weekly and monthly reporting as it relates to the audience projections and tracking for network executives.
• Compiling and analyzing consumer and viewing data from multiple sources to create actionable insights.
• Providing research support for network programming and develop ing ad-hoc analyses on key topics through secondary and primary research projects.

The Essentials
• 5+ years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Must have strong math skills , highly comfortable with data.
• U se and gain knowledge of software applications (Adobe, comScore, Nielsen, StarTrak , Freewheel, etc.) that extract data from primary and syndicated sources.
• Deep intellectual curiosity.
• Capable to coach and lead Analyst-level team members.
• Ability to translat e data into clear, actionable insights ; present findings to key stakeholders using data visualization and storytelling.
• Strong work - ethic; must have the ability to handle multiple assignments at once in a fast-paced environment .
• Capacity to adapt to fast-paced environment, with priorities that can change at a moment's notice.
• K nowledge of how television programming is evolving the platforms on which viewers can consume them.
• U nderstanding of television / video ecosystems in which viewers are choosing to access content.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Skill in quantitative analysis of market research statistics and media math a plus.
• Experience with data visualization modeling (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI ) a plus.
