Director Of Business Development and SVOD Partnerships

Tastemade is a global community of food lovers & travelers!

We are seeking to hire a Director of Business Developmen t and SVOD Partnerships. This person will work directly with the Head of Business Development to drive the growth of Tastemade+, Tastemade's SVOD offering, through 3rd party distribution, and bundling partnerships.

A successful candidate will have strong experience in subscription-based partnerships in terms of how to pitch such partnerships and to structure such deals. They'll be able to sell Tastemade to senior leaders at various companies, work with legal to drive those deals to the conclusion, and then collaborate with the team to bring these partnerships to life.

What you'll do:
• Identify various potential partners across a variety of different sectors that can help drive the distribution of Tastemade+.
• Negotiate deals with distribution partners in conjunction with Tastemade's legal team.
• Set up various distribution models and deal structures to govern these partnerships.
• Vet the integration with potential partners and be able to flag sources of friction or problem areas, and then work with the product and eng team to address.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (partner marketing) to ensure partners drive success in terms of key KPI's.

What you'll bring:
• Strong business development skills such as creating and analyzing deal structures, strategizing around various types of companies to pitch.
• Strong sales mindset in terms of effectively selling Tastemade and working with the team to continually enhance and refine value proposition.
• A network of key contacts at key potential partners that can be leveraged in business development outreach.
• Nimble and able to work across different teams to collaboratively bring partnerships to life.
• 5 to 8 years of direct experience at either a subscription-based business or a platform or company that has retailed such services.
