Entertainment Sales Specialist

Job Description

For over 40 years, Sure Sound and Lighting has provided video, audio, lighting, and transportation solutions to concerts and full tours, sporting events, shows, and more.

Our ideal Sales Representative must have a good knowledge of the entertainment industry and be able to build a quote from the ground up based on the needs of every individual customer. They will be familiar with different lighting and sound configurations a customer may need. They will be comfortable with many forms of communication including face-to-face, e-mail, phone calls, and occasional video calls.

Qualifications:

· 2+ years experience in the production/entertainment field

· 2+ years of sales experience

· Strong verbal, digital, and phone communication skills

· Computer proficiency including Microsoft products

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.

· Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

· Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

· Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

· Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

· Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
