Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW

The Coordinator, Finance is charged with processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for all assigned programs.

Working closely under the direction of the Senior Manager, Finance, this full-time temporary position works from Monday, March 20, 2023 through Friday, July 28, 2023. Extended hours, including evenings and weekends will be required at key points throughout the employment dates. This is a fully remote position that does not require any onsite work duties.

Top priorities include, but are not limited to...
• Processing bi-weekly accounts payable, including entering invoices into the accounting system for payment.
• Ensuring invoices are received and distributed for the review and approval process, new vendor records are entered into the financial system, and supplemental paperwork is received.
• Providing timely communications with vendors and employees regarding invoicing or account issues as they arise.
• Administering the Los Angeles office credit cards, monitoring their use, and reconciling corporate Visa statements monthly.
• Tracking and disbursing petty cash for assigned programs.
• Supporting the Finance Department with various processes including calendar year end closing, annual audit, research and analysis, Film Festival responsibilities, etc.

You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 2 years of accounting and/or banking experience, with experience in nonprofit accounting preferred.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Gmail, Google Drive, and Calendar.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to audit work, avoid mistakes, and perform tasks accurately.
• Strong customer support skills.
• Working knowledge of Netsuite or other accounting software.
• Experience facilitating training is preferred.
