Summary of Position

The Senior Systems Analyst position supports our Authentication/Authorization/Billing services, which are critical, revenue driving services for our OTT platforms. The primary function of the Senior Systems Analyst is to successfully solicit business requirements from our Product & Marketing organizations and translate those into technical requirements for our backend services development team and produce user acceptance criteria for QA. The selected candidate MUST have experience integrating different backend systems/platforms together, with the ability to define/gather the associated requirements for integrations within our own team, and making sure those work for the customer facing application development teams who will consume those services. The position requires expert Systems Integration/Analysis & Cross-Platform/Application knowledge, as well as an understanding of the organization's systems and capabilities. The Senior Systems Analyst provides knowledge on the direction of the business by utilizing the information of the business and technical capabilities to implement solutions to the more complex business needs/problems. Successful applicants will be familiar with websites, apps, and console platforms, third party billing integrations/platforms and OTT subscriber data sets.

Responsibilities
• Creates development ready documentation, including system and functional requirements.
• Gathers, refines and formalizes complex business requirements, interdependencies, cross-functional dependencies and potential risks and issues.
• Creates JIRA tickets based on designs and requirements documentation.
• Interfaces with internal teams/developers/third party development teams, and ensures their work is completed on time, within scope, and exceeding quality standards.
• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify the integration of multiple systems, applications, and platforms.
• Conducts gap analysis assessments on existing functional and business requirements as well as user experiences.
• Collaborates with software architects, UX designers, and cross functional development teams.
• Works effectively with a development team while still working independently to meet deadlines.
• Assists in the business process design or redesign and documentation as needed.
• Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications.
• Assists QA team in test case scenarios, user acceptance criteria.

Qualifications & Skills
• BS degree in information management, computer science, or equivalent technical field.
• 7+ years with Business/Systems Analysis experience
• 7+ years working directly as a member of a technical team, preferably writing specifications/supporting/innovating for a consumer-facing product
• Expert experience gathering, refining, and validating complex business/technical requirements, interdependencies, cross-functional dependencies & risks/issues.
• Advanced training on elicitation and elaboration of requirements.
• Ability to interface with internal teams and other necessary resources to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope & exceeding quality standards.
• Strong experience with system/platform integrations and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Advanced knowledge of technology system interfaces and data integrations.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and committed to a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry best practice for business/systems analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with RDBMS systems and concepts (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake)
• Experience and deep understanding of backend REST API development
• Experience with mobile (iOS, Android), web, TV and console technologies (Xbox, PS4)
• OTT/Billing experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with a cloud computing environment (Amazon, Google) a plus
• Experience with non-relational databases (DynamoDB) a plus

Compensation

$95,400 - $149,300
