Job Description

Summary of Position

Manage a major facilities move within the organization. Under minimal supervision, demonstrates highly advanced skills in project management to define, plan, organize, track and monitor, and oversee a multitude of sub-projects to meet defined requirements or business specifications. Functions performed include scope & change management, team management, business analysis, communications, risk/issue management, quality management and interpersonal relations to manage the project. Provides subject matter expertise and effective, actionable, and practical advice to management to execute the indicated facilities move as efficiently & quickly as possible.

Responsibilities
• Ability to manage a large facilities move project containing an assortment of small, medium, & large sub-work streams successfully according to the expectations of key stakeholders. Trusted to manage Executive or C-level stakeholder relationships

• Prepare & Manage Milestone Level Plans

• Manage each project change request to a conclusion

• Create Communication Plans & ensure timely / relevant communications. Gets to the point quickly in written communications, making clear any actions or needs from the reader

• Manage project status within the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)

• Builds trusted relationships with peers & team members. Works to keep that trust & gain trust of those that may not be like-minded

• Manage vendor relationships

• Actively looks for and drives solutions to problems

• Makes thoughtful decisions after weighing facts & opinions and accepts responsibility for those decisions

• Knows how to 'read the room' and can adjust style of communications and content accordingly

Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 10 years related I.T. Infrastructure, Media, or Broadcast project management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Previous experience with 1 – 3 data center moves

• Previous experience with moving on premise based infrastructure to the cloud

• Proven team leadership experience and leading diverse teams

• Detail-oriented and extremely organized

• Excellent written and oral communications with ability to plan and facilitate effective meetings

• Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadlines and pressure

• Excellent presentation skills and experience in presenting to all levels of leadership, including C-Level leadership

• Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project/PPM Applications

• Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence) is a plus

Nice to Haves
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred

Compensation

$122,400 - $149,300
