Summary of Position

The STARZ Insights & Analytics team is looking for a highly motivated, results oriented Senior Analyst of Marketing Insights to provide actionable insights and judicious recommendations in support of paid digital marketing initiatives. The Senior Analyst will provide support to the Manager of Marketing Insights and STARZ Digital team to plan, measure, optimize and evaluate the performance of paid social media campaigns across the STARZ portfolio and provides subject matter expertise, keeping up to date with digital trends to inform new campaign strategies. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is highly organized, and thrives in a problem-solving environment.

Responsibilities
• Partner with the Manager, Marketing Insights to translate audience research into actionable target audience segments for paid social initiatives

• Collaborate with Digital team to plan paid social media with Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat etc.

• Leveraging platform specific campaign planning tools to understand reach, frequency and cost of prospective audiences

• Provide leadership with ad-hoc sentiment analyses using social listening tools to monitor conversation of Original shows

• Monitor daily campaign pacing; pull, analyze and leverage insights to identify optimization opportunities and implement enhancements

• Execute A/B testing initiatives to drive improvement in campaign efficiency and effectiveness

• Work with Marketing Insights leadership to establish paid social measurement with respect to holistic campaign activity, including the integration of social KPIs, diagnostics and benchmarks and development of brand lift studies where applicable

• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and platform partners

• Facilitate the sharing of data and insights among relevant internal parties to inform future strategies

• Keep up-to-date with platform changes and best practices to infuse into new social campaigns as needed

Qualifications & Skills
• 3+ years of relevant experience, with a passion for understanding consumers and their behavior

• BA/BS/MS in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Psychology, or other quantitative field preferred

• Proficient with SQL, Tableau, Python, and/or R

• Understanding of basic statistical concepts, such as descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, sample size calculations, correlations and A/B testing

• Excellent reporting and analysis skills including the ability to distill raw data into actionable insights

• Demonstrated experience planning and assessing campaigns across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, DV360/YouTube and/or Tumblr

• Comfortable working in a fast paced, quickly changing and growing environment without sacrificing quality

• Strong project management, organizational skills to ensure the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Proficient in Excel, strong analytical skills, comfortable with pivot tables, formulas, and organizing/understanding large data sets

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Limited travel to New York

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
