Summary of Position

The Manager, Distribution maximizes Starz Entertainment (STE) subscribers and revenue through collaborative implementation of partnership marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives, coordinating and delivering on base elements of campaigns. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills, as well as the ability to analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make innovative recommendations leading to increased revenue and subscribers. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to execute on multiple projects, working both independently and with a team. The role is customer facing and requires a diligence in follow through, communication internally and externally as well as a keen sense of customer relationships and how they impact the larger distribution team.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement marketing and sales channel initiatives for the promotion of STARZ services and Original Programming resulting in increased sales volume, subscriber retention and revenue growth, and ensure that all activities provide optimal value to STE respective of affiliate agreement terms and economics
• Establish and nurture relationships with MVPD decision makers, primarily sales channel stakeholders
• Work closely with the distribution team to assist in the development and analysis of growth plans to ensure revenue and subscriber growth and expansion of company products and/or services with distribution partners (MVPDs, vMVPD, OTT and Mobile)
• Maintain constant awareness of the direction and manage status of all projects, including anticipating needs and conflicts that unexpectedly evolve
• Exhibit strong communication skills through ongoing communication, presentations, weekly meetings and quarterly business reviews
• Secure optimal placement for STARZ in partner marketing tactics. Review partner creative, manage internal routing and communicate changes when needed
• Effectively work with Distribution Partners, agencies, all levels of the Distribution team and internal departments
• Manage product launches on existing, emerging and evolving media platforms
• Assist in managing contractual marketing funds and provide guidance to distribution team, accounting and finance as to the utilization of marketing funds on assigned accounts
• Monitor and analyze marketing projects and make recommendations for improvements and better results

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree
• Five years related experience; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum two years' experience in a client-facing role
• High attention to detail
• Account service oriented with a high level of responsiveness is expected and strong relationship building and maintaining skill set required
• Possess strategic proficiency and understanding of industry/competitive environment including knowledge of distribution goals and product packaging
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously and meet deadlines through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven communication skills – oral, written and presentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe (Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and comfortable learning proprietary software solutions
• Experience in cable, satellite, telecommunications or entertainment industry a plus
