Job Description
Summary of Position

The Contract Administrator, Legal Affairs will report to the SVP, Legal Affairs and provide support to the Original Programming Legal Affairs team for studio and network. The successful candidate will have experience in contract administration, having worked in a law firm or corporate legal environment.

Responsibilities
• Under attorney supervision, prepare production contracts including vendor, location, and stage agreement; coordinate, compile and track contractual obligations, and options for studio.

• Review documents, content and promotional materials to ensure compliance with talent and other contractual obligations and restrictions, and advise creative executives and marketing personnel regarding such obligations and restrictions

• Assist with copyright administration, including completing copyright registrations and recordation

• Work effectively with outside attorneys and producers to address all delivery matters

• Other responsibilities as directed

Qualificatons & Skills
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience working for a law firm or corporate legal office; experience in the entertainment industry a plus

• Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities and projects at once

• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with attention to detail

• Must be able to act independently and follow up on tasks

• Must have experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Experience working in television production a plus

• Paralegal Certificate a plus

Compensation

$57,435 - $70,193
