Summary of Position

The Administrative Assistant is an integral part of the Originals TV Production/Post-Production department. Reporting into the SVP, Production, this role provides team support to the Executive Director, Post Production and Manager, Production and is responsible for a variety of tasks in support of day-to-day operations.

Responsibilites
• Providing administrative support by rolling calls, maintaining calendars and coordinating meetings for three Production Executives

• Booking travel arrangements (domestic and international) when needed, submitting all expense reports, and taking care of purchasing requests for office supplies

• Attending meetings and taking detailed notes when deemed appropriate

• Maintaining Starz contact lists for each of our shows

• Assisting with the tracking of documentation for all our shows on Scenechronize

• Establishing relationships with other assistants across different departments

• Reading scripts and watching material when needed

• Providing additional support where needed

Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of 1 year of previous administrative assistant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced entertainment setting

• Great communication skills and ability to coordinate with high-level internal and external partners

• General knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of networks, studios, and physical production in television

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, be a self-starter, anticipate needs and follow through on all tasks

• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Suite and Scenechronize

• Passion for television and the desire to learn and grown in this industry

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Nice to Haves
• Experience as an Office PA, Producer's Assistant or Set PA on a physical TV production is a plus
