Job Description

Summary of Position

Provide administrative support to the SVP/Head of program acquisitions and the entire acquisitions department. Responsible for general clerical and project based work, projecting a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction

Responsibilities
• Screen incoming calls/correspondence and handle general inquiries, respond independently when possible

• Set internal and external conference calls/video conferencing involving multiple time zones

• Schedule internal and external meetings including coordinating meetings/schedules for film markets/festivals

• Facilitate travel arrangements including conference registration and overall itineraries

• Manage day-to-day Outlook calendars

• Prepare and submit regular and accurate expense reports

• Enter information for all incoming film submissions into internal database

• Serve as primary liaison and manage subscriptions for industry related websites/databases

• Handle daily internal cross-departmental requests

• Must become familiar with standard content licensing agreements

• Maintain archive for all content agreements/amendments

• Prepare and distribute internal deal memos and deal notifications

• Order office supplies as needed

Experience & Skills
• Bachelor Degree

• Minimum 5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Excellent verbal, written, organizational and communication skills

• Must have acute attention to detail

• Must take initiative and manage multiple responsibilities

• Knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and project software applications

• Must have a strong work ethic, integrity, and good business acumen

Nice to Haves
• Familiarity with the TV/film industry

• Familiarity with legal contracts

Compensation

$52,800 - $63,400
