Associate, Content Acquisition & Strategy

Job Description

The Associate, Content Acquisition & Strategy will serve as a key resource to the senior executive team for the Content Business Unit. This role will provide critical input to Spotify's podcast strategy and develop business cases and pitch decks for content acquisition targets, original content creation, and justification of new content formats. The Content Acquisition & Strategy Associate will work directly with a range of teams including Studios, Partnerships, FP&A, Advertising, Analytics, and Business Operations to develop strategic insight and drive operational efforts that meet the needs of Spotify as a business amidst a complex and constantly evolving market ecosystem.

A successful candidate for this position will have experience in financial modeling, strategic decision making and cross-functional efforts. They will be comfortable designing and implementing processes and workflows that balance quality and speed, and ideally have experience in and passion for content acquisition. The position will be based in New York and will report into the Senior Manager, Content Strategy & Business Development.
