Studio Operations Finance Trainee, Corporate - Summer/Fall 2022

The Sony Pictures Entertainment Professional Trainee program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. Trainees will work remotely with the potential of working in the office location at a later time. This Summer/Fall Professional Trainee position is from May/June through December 16th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
Our team oversees the financial planning and reporting processes for the Studio Operations Group - Distribution & Content Services (DCS), Post Production, Production Services, and Post Media Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support DCS Finance's recently ''greenlit'' Smart Reporting Project, aimed at delivering key business insights and metrics to the Distribution & Content Services operations
• Partner with DCS management to define operational and financial KPIs
• Help with the design of management dashboards, reporting, and predictive analytic tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 2 years of practical work experience in analytical roles preferably; Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Business Planning and/or Consulting
• Big 4/Consulting experience a plus
• Bachelors in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Data visualization, data analytics, Tableau, Power BI, Advanced MS Excel, and Macro experience
• Entertainment industry experience preferred
• Masters degree, or MBA in progress or completed
