Senior Programming Analyst
Title: Sr. Programming Analyst
Location: Mexico City
Division/Dept: SPT Latin America / Networks
The Sr. Programming Analyst is responsible for processing, organizing, and implementing activities related to the generation and distribution in the area of the programming schedule. The Sr. Programming Analyst is also responsible for relaying relevant information to internal departments (i.e. operations, traffic, marketing, and ad sales). This role reports to the Sr. Programming Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Execute the installation and distribution of the programming schedule for both channels AXN & Sony Channel
• Insertion of the programming schedule in VISION
• Inform the programming changes that are made to all internal and external departments
• Maintenance of daily programming information in VISION (titles, episodes, times and house numbers)
• Produce and distribute daily/weekly/monthly programming reports to different departments
• Inform and coordinate with the traffic department priorities including the ins and outs of the weekly material
• Request and coordinate the priorities according to the broadcast date
• Distribution of scripts
• Creation of disclaimers for all new series and acquired films
• Attend and give support the meetings of status
• Plan and schedule secondary elements according to the channel's directives (Ad Sales, Programming, On Air, and Marketing/PR)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Knowledge of the programming software's such as Vision
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of entertainment (must love TV and movies)
• Team oriented, ability to work in group
• Good communication and organization skills are a must in order to coordinate with the other departments
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work effectively with uncertainty/changing environments
Experience:
• 1+ years of programming/operations and TV experience
Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience is required
