Job Description
Marketing Executive (6 Month Contract)

Based in Seoul and reporting to the Executive Director, Sales, International Distribution, the Marketing Executive will manage digital accounts (e.g. KT, SK, LG, Naver, Google) to secure incremental placement on a range of client digital service.

This role includes aspects of marketing and strategic planning, ability to demonstrate well-balanced skills in communication, strategy, analytics, as well as strong interpersonal skills that foster strong customer relationships and efficient internal coordination.

To be successful in this role you must be data savvy, demonstrating the ability to identify consumer trends and create account specific plans based on customer sales data.

Please note: This position is a 6 month contract.

Responsibilities:

Commercial:
• Attain incremental placement on and off store for SPE's feature and TV series
• Lead day to day discussions with customers, conceive go to market strategies for priority feature titles
• Determine and exploit optimal lifecycle windows and pricing strategy for features and TV series to monetize throughout lifecycle
• Frequently check clients store fronts to monitor SPE title placement and competitor activity
• Track competitor's activity & pricing (other studios' new release & promo pricing, windowing strategy)
• Drive title promotions during key trading periods

Marketing:
• Develop product and marketing presentations for clients and third-party partners
• Directed by the Executive Director in Seoul to:
• Invest marketing budget in innovative on or off store activations to drive incremental sales
• Monitor theatrical screen count, and invest in extra screens where necessary to secure premium windows
• Determine investment in contracted and on contracted TV points, monitor, test, & learn
• Pitch and provide talent access opportunities both on and off store
• Assist in the ongoing communication with SPRI (Sony theatrical) marketing team
• Secure, supply and leverage promotional content (AV's, trailers, bonus features) with digital clients or third parties to drive title awareness and or transactions
Operations:
• Work in conjunction with relevant teams to ensure material delivery and release schedules are provided to platforms as needed to facilitate title launch
• Oversea censorship process to make sure the process to comply with Korea regulation and company policy
• Co-ordinate with relevant departments to confirm any changes to title plan or timing are communicated to accounts in a timely fashion
• Manage customer campaign pricing work to ensure promotional prices are to be reflected in sales results
• Be the internal point of contact for all customer related queries; coordinate with HQ, Regional HQ and Korea teams to deliver excellent overall customer service
• Manage merchandise inventory & distribution/shipping
• Ad hoc analysis where required

Requirements:
• Minimum Degree qualification in Business Administration or relevant disciplines, preferably major in Marketing, Media or Communications
• Typically 3 years of experience preferably in Account Management
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication, presentation skills and negotiation skills
• Fluent in both English and Korean - ability to translate Korean to English
• Knowledge on the digital distribution landscape in Korea
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to multi task and work under pressure
• A passion for movies and TV series
