Overview

Sony Pictures Entertainment is a 'big six' studio responsible for blockbuster films such as Jumanji and Peter Rabbit, and legendary TV Shows such as Breaking Bad and The Crown. The role of Marketing Coordinator – TV Series will be placed within the marketing team of the Distribution division for the UK, responsible for the distribution of film and television content, through both TV broadcast and ownership of physical disc or digital download.

The Role

We are looking for someone who has a demonstrable passion for television series and the industry, as well having a keen creative eye and is a confident communicator. This role is suited to someone looking for their first role in the Television industry.

The Marketing Coordinator post will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to service UK channels with marketing assets and build pitch strategy for newly produced series. The expectation is that this role will eventually take on responsibility for developing creative and imaginative B2C and B2B materials.

Key Responsibilities include:

Marketing
• Day to day contact for asset enquiries from channels, platforms and third parties
• Liaising with production and distribution partners regarding key assets and materials including imagery, footage and copyright
• Helping with the ideating, defining, managing and executing pitches to UK clients
• Tracking/sharing of best practices, competitor campaigns and industry news
• Assisting team in building presentations for key internal and external meetings
• Managing budget tracker and raising purchase orders
