Job Description
Manager, Global Creative Strategy and Research
Oversee key research projects by working with external vendors and internal stakeholders on both quantitative and qualitative global projects. Oversees questionnaire design, writes recruit memos (for focus groups), reviews reports, analyzes results, and communicates findings to the wider marketing team. Writes internal tracking memos for long-lead titles and works closely with analytics teams to create holistic reports. Write internal memos regarding custom research and tack-ons and shares with internal stakeholders. Serves as a title lead on select Columbia, Screen Gems, and/or TriStar titles as needed. Serve as part of the production research team on ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

The position plans, manages and conducts research and analytical projects that address the Global Creative Strategy and Research team's needs. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as a title lead on select titles, executing quantitative and qualitative creative tests.
• Work closely with Executive Director(s) and Co-Heads on the team during the creative testing process, with questionnaire design, localization of materials, and analysis. Attend and communicate findings from focus groups as needed.
• Actively manage the weekly coordination of domestic and international tracking as needed, tack-ons, box office predictions, consumer behavior/trends, exits, and is responsible for crafting internal memos regarding each. Oversee Coordinator in managing the tracking process.
• Collaborate in the creation of key strategy documents that incorporate findings from all existing research conducted on a given title. As needed, work closely with the Executive Directors and Co-Heads on the team to create a comprehensive document that identifies each title's core audience and guides broad marketing strategy.
• Actively support the Co-Heads of Global Creative Strategy and Research and broader team on ad hoc projects as needed.
• Carefully review collected data for quality control purposes.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day participation of the Coordinator in research-related tasks, with a commitment to this Intern's career growth.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years' work experience; ideally 2 years in the entertainment industry
• Individual must possess extreme proficiency in written and quantitative skills. SPSS/ Regression Analysis are preferred. Proficiency in Tableau strongly desired
• Strong project management skills. Must be detailed oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication, as well as presentation skills
• Strong analytic skills
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge/Experience of surveys
• Firm quantitative and qualitative research background. Familiarity with methodologies and the latest approaches to Ad Testing, Branding and Positioning
