Manager, Finance Distribution FP&A

Sony Pictures Worldwide Distribution is one of the entertainment industry's leading content providers. We distribute programming in every genre, including series, telefilms, theatrical releases, and family entertainment around the world and for every platform: OTT, broadcast and cable television, first-run and off-network syndication, digital and physical distribution.

The Manager, Finance is a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team leading modeling, analytics, and global reporting efforts adding value to the quarterly forecasts, annual budget, mid-range plans, and film ultimates with a focus on commercial support. This role partners with technical teams, sales planning, product strategy team, and our FP&A colleagues around the world. The position has two direct reports.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Support team in consolidating, reviewing, and analyzing forecasts and Ultimates
• Lead global reporting efforts by building on tools and dashboards developed to date
• Drive value-add analytics using qualitive and quantitative data/factors
• Develop a new international transactional (IHE) film model with global commercial teams
• Streamline benchmark and valuation modeling
• Coaching and development of team members
• Systemize data and information currently housed in Excel
• Continuous processes improvement
Qualifications
• 3+ years' experience in Entertainment / Media / Television Distribution preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics or related field required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) especially with non-Finance individuals.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Strong MS excel skills.
• Critical thinker with solid business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong follow-through on all projects; ability to bring projects to timely completion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience managing people is a plus.
• Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook). Power BI is a plus.
