IT Business Analyst (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Overview
Based within the IT Business Relationship team, IT Business Analyst is responsible for 1st line application support for our Television Networks business, managing support tickets via ServiceNow and email, with support from the Senior IT Business Analyst. The role will primarily focus on ticket management and is a critical role liaising directly with the business teams.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about TV and the opportunity to work across many different teams within Sony Pictures.
What you will be working on:
90% TV Networks Application & Workflow Support:
• Day to day management of application support including onboarding of new users and escalation of critical issues.
• Lead communication to ensure smooth resolution for support tickets raised by the business teams including clear prioritisation of tickets and the order tickets are managed.
• Coordination of tasks across wider IT teams based in London and Los Angeles.
• Requirements gathering/analysis of new enhancements or workflow changes.
• Manage third party vendors where required.
• Support Senior IT Business Analyst on new projects.
10% Business Relationship Management:
• Support wider IT team with projects including, but not limited to supporting, Microsoft Office 365 or general IT enquiries.
• Capture future business requirements gathered in regular meetings and communicate effectively across IT teams.
• General support for the return to office for employees who are currently working from home.
What we need from you:
Ideally, 1+ years' experience of at least one of the following
Knowledge:
• Landmark Rights & Scheduling system (Vision).
• Movida non-linear scheduling system (BeBanjo).
• Linear tv scheduling workflows.
• Asset management workflows.
• Non-linear tv scheduling workflows.
• Demonstrable track record of effective agency management.
Skills:
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, managing both internal and external stakeholders
• Solid analytical skills to prioritise support tickets and enhancements raised with IT.
• Microsoft Office 365, Excel proficiency required.
Abilities:
• Have the confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels concisely and professionally.
• Attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work with shifting priorities and last-minute deadlines.
