Job Description

The Compositing Supervisor manages the compositing of previously created materials (e.g., rendered animation, special effects, graphics, live action, static background plates) to create final images that meet art direction. Serves as creative and technical compositing lead and manages productivity and performance of compositors. Delivers final composited shots to production and ensures final technical check. Completes all assigned work within the schedule while maintaining constant communication with production team and other artists.
Translates creative and technical direction for the production into specific direction for shots and sequences. Reviews and adjusts assigned art/technical content to meet creative direction. Manages the work of leads and individual contributors. Ensures the ongoing training and development of compositing staff. Possesses highly developed creative skills and a strong understanding of color correction, blue/green screen, rotoscoping, matte painting and tracking technologies.

Requirements:
• In depth knowledge of Nuke or relevant software.
• Minimum of 5-8+ years of progressively complex experience in production or feature film.
• Prior lead or supervising experience required.
